Hannah Tucker of Apex Returns to Alma Mater as a Panelist

Hannah Tucker of Apex was among several alumni to return to William Peace University as part of a panel for Career Connections this month.

The annual fall event connects current students with alumni for potential career opportunities after graduation.

More than 165 students attended the event this year - a record for the university.

Barbara Efird, Director of Career Services, said that students and alumni are invited to hear what they panelists have to share about their transition from college to the workplace or further education.

"It's a terrific opportunity for our students get some useful information from professionals that went through the same programs," she said.

The panels included alumni in the business, communications, psychology, science, education and law fields. Additionally, there was also a panel that discussed graduate school opportunities.

Founded in 1857, William Peace University is a private coeducational university located in downtown Raleigh, NC. The university's mission is to prepare students for careers in the organizations of tomorrow.
