Sidarth Tripathi of Raleigh NC, Finishes Strong In William Peace University's Singing Competition

William Peace University student Sidarth Tripathi of Raleigh NC, was a runner-up on on the university's version of American Idol, the reality singing competition, Friday.

Tripathi, who breezed through the audition process, performed in front of a packed Kenan Auditorium and a three-person judging panel comprised of a student and two faculty members.

Peace Idol is an annual William Peace University event showcasing the vocal abilities of participating students.
