Taylor Shaw-Adams Participates in Community Building and Leadership Conference at North Carolina Central University

Taylor Shaw-Adams of Hillsborough was among nine William Peace University resident assistants participating in community building, diversity, leadership and professional staff development at a conference hosted by North Carolina Central University on Oct. 22.

The event titled, P.L.A.Y (promoting leadership and achievement for yourself), was part of the annual North Carolina Housing Officers RA Drive-In Conference.

Additionally, William Peace University was also voted the Most Spirited among the 23 colleges in attendance.

Tierza Watts, associate director for the student leadership center at NC State University, was this year's keynote speaker.
