Raleigh Community Invited to WPU Holiday Celebration and Lighting of the Lawn

Raleigh, NC (11/01/2022) — RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace University cordially invites Raleigh residents to join in the spirit of the holiday season for a tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Raleigh residents are invited to attend the tree lighting at 7 p.m. University President Brian Ralph will say a few words before lighting the 40-foot tree near the campus' iconic fountain. Attendees are encouraged to gather at 6:45 p.m. and remain afterward for treats.

Families and visitors are also welcome to get a special photo taken in front of the tree following the ceremony. A photographer will be on-site to print the images free of charge.

Other activities for students only will take place before and after the tree lighting, including a service, a special dining hall dinner, and a Holly Jolly Night party.
