NCDPS Partners With WPU for RN to BSN program
Raleigh, NC (03/30/2022) — RALEIGH, N.C. - More Registered Nurses at the North Carolina Department of Safety can earn their Bachelor of Nursing degrees thanks to a new partnership announced with William Peace University (WPU).
The NC Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) partnership with the University will give their RNs a tuition discount for WPU's RN to BSN program.
"Due to the proximity of their facilities to our WPU campus, and now, with the tuition discount, the RN to BSN program at WPU is a great option for nurses who work for the NCDPS and want hybrid or fully online classes," said Dr. Erica Jastrow, RN to BSN Program Director. "We look forward to having these nurses enroll so that we can support them in earning their BSN degree with our high-touch approach."
WPU's RN to BSN program is open to registered nurses across specializations with an Associate's Degree in Nursing. This growing BSN program offers part-time and full-time schedules, both hybrid and online. Nurses who work at NCDPS (or other healthcare facilities) can also contact the Nursing Admissions Coordinator by emailing rnbsn@peace.edu to get started.
BSN degrees are in higher demand by hospitals and healthcare systems. The University also partners with WakeMed, UNC Rex, the UNC Physicians Network, and Randolph Health.
