William Peace University Athletics Name Hannah Marshall As Head Volleyball Coach
Raleigh, NC (03/17/2022) — William Peace University Athletics is excited to announce Hannah Marshall as the Head Volleyball Coach. Marshall joins the Pacers after serving as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach and Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Lincoln College.
Marshall joined Lincoln College in 2020, where she coached the CCAC Libero of the Year and an AVCA All-Region Libero. Prior to her time at Lincoln, she served as a Volleyball Graduate Assistant Coach at Trinity International University. During her time at Trinity, she helped coach several 1st and 2nd Team All-CCAC players, as well as a few NCCAA All-Region players.
Coach Marshall is excited to join the Pacers, stating, "I am so excited for the opportunity to lead the William Peace volleyball team and join the Pacer family. I would like to thank President Brian Ralph, Athletic Director Tom Curle, Deputy Director of Athletics Claude Shields, and the rest of the search committee for their dedication to athletics and entrusting me to this position. The women's volleyball program has a successful history both on and off the court, and I look forward to working with this great group of young women to maximize their potential. This team is hungry, and I can't wait to get started! Go Pacers!"

Marshall received a MA in Athletic Training from Trinity International University in 2020 and a BA in Exercise Science from Westminster College in 2018. During her time at Westminster, she had a successful career as an outside hitter, receiving 1st Team All-SLIAC honors for three years in a row. She was also named the SLIAC Player of the Year in 2015, and a member of the SLIAC All-Decade Team, and currently holds numerous program records. Marshall was also heavily involved on campus as a student, serving as SAAC President, a founding member of HAPEx (Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science majors), a Peer Health Educator, and an athletic training intern.
