WILLIAM PEACE UNIVERSITY RANKED IN TOP 29 OF REGIONAL COLLEGES BY U.S. NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

Raleigh, NC (09/13/2022) — RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace University (WPU) was ranked 29th in Regional Colleges: South category by U.S. News and World Report. Additionally, the University earned the #29 seat for Best Colleges for Value in the South..

The University has consistently ranked among the South's top colleges, especially since undergoing many changes in the last several years. WPU became an accredited institution in 1947.

"We're thrilled to be recognized for the work we do to create a top-notch learning experience for students," said Brian Ralph, president at William Peace University. "We are working to be recognized as one of the leading universities in the Southeast. We have good momentum coming out of the pandemic, driven by an increase in new student enrollment, the addition of three new majors, and the continued growth of Raleigh and the region."

U.S. News and World Report also listed the campus among the Top Performers on Social Mobility (South) and in Campus Ethnic Diversity.

Every traditional undergraduate student at WPU completes at least one internship or professional experience before graduating, which may contribute to its high placement rate in a job or graduate school (it consistently hovers in the mid-90% range).

"Nearly 100 percent of students also receive some financial support, making the University a valuable launching pad for a career," Ralph said. "We know high school graduates today have many choices, and we're proud to know that WPU's immersive learning programs will prepare them for not just a job but their lives as a whole."
